Guide

Bull is one of the best brawlers with his buffies being quite powerful, so use this guide to master him!Introduction: "Bull isn't as carefree as he was in his youth, but just because his rowdy days are behind him doesn't mean he won't still crush someone who's asking for it."Trait: Bull can charge his super through taking damage, and it tskes 2.4x Bull's max health to charge.Stats
Movement speed: fast
Health: 10000
Damage: 840 per shell
Range: 5.33 (normal)
4.67 (while hypercharge is active with the buffie; normal)
Reload: 1.6 seconds (normal)
0.8 seconds (while Berserker is active; very fast)Attack: Double-Barrel
Bull fires 5 shells that deal 880 damage each, for a total of 4400 damage if all 5 shells hit. His range is pretty short and he needs to get close to enemies to maximize his damage, as he deals very low damage at far range. With Bull's main attack, it takes 10 hits to charge his super and 26 hits to charge his hypercharge.Super: Bulldozer
Bull's super can be aimed at however much range you want, and he charges to a chosen direction, dealing 2000 damage and destroying obstacles in the way. When Bull finishes charging, he will slow nearby enemies for 2.5 seconds within a 3-tile radius, and can't be knocked back when charging, but can still be stunned otherwise. With Bull's super, it takes only 3 hits to charge his super and 8 hits to charge his hypercharge.Gadgets
T-Bone Missile (18 second cooldown) (formerly T-Bone Injector)
Old: Bull instantly heals himself for 20% of his max health.New:
Range: 6 (normal)
When aiming using the gadget button, Bull fires a projectile that deals 1800 damage to any enemy hit, and heals him for 1800 health on impact. This gadget is definitely underrated as it is usually overshadowed by Stomper because of the stun. I think this gadget is pretty good to heal yourself when you're low on health, as the heal is decent, though slightly lower than the old gadget. One of the cool things about T-Bone Missile is that this can charge your super almost twice as fast as one of your main attack's projectiles. With T-Bone Missile, it takes 5 hits to charge your super and 15 hits to charge your hypercharge. With the Buffie equipped, T-Bone Missile also marks the enemy for 5 seconds, and Bull heals for 25% of the damage dealt when attacking the marked enemy, which makes T-Bone Missile versatile to use when you acquire the buffie. This gadget's cooldown begins after the attack is used.Stomper (20 second cooldown)
Oldest: Bull can interrupt his super when charging and slows nearby enemies for 1.5 seconds.Old: Bull's next super stuns any enemies hit for 0.5 seconds, and stuns enemies for 1 second at the end of his super's range.New: Bull stomps onto the ground, slowing any enemies caught within a 2.67-tile radius by 50% for 1 second. If they're slowed, regardless if Bull slowed them or not, the enemies will be stunned for 1 second instead. Most people go for this gadget because it serves as a very good follow-up from your super and you can perform a combo with your super ready: Super + Stomper + Stun = Free Kill. Stomper is really good to stun nearby enemies especially since they will be stunned, even if Bull didn't slow them originally, but I think T-Bone Missile is the better gadget because Stomper received a nerf where enemies will be slowed/stunned for 1 second instead of 2. With the Buffie equipped, when Bull stuns an enemy, he will move 30% faster for 3 seconds. I think this buffie is meh because it's not very strong, but a good buffie that allows you to rush enemies and kill them faster. This gadget's cooldown starts after it is used.Star Powers
Berserker
When Bull is at less than 60% (6000) health, he will reload twice as fast, which decreases his reload time to 0.8 seconds. This is really good against brawlers that can't run away from you or don't deal enough damage, because you'll easily kill them within a few seconds as Bull's damage is very high at close range. This pairs well with T-Bone Missile with the buffie equipped, because against those marked brawlers you can spam shots and heal a bunch. It also pairs well with Stomper because when you slow enemies with your super and stun them with Stomper, it allows for a free kill, but you need to act fast because with Bull's recent nerf, Stomper only slows/stuns for 1 second instead of 2. With the buffie equipped, when Bull kills an enemy while Berserker is active, he will instantly recharge his super. I think with the buffie Berserker is a lot better than Tough Guy, because you can just keep charging through obstacles, and the Berserker buffie pairs well with the hypercharge and Stomper, because when you use your super during your hypercharge, you can tank so much damage and stun enemies upon slowing them.Tough Guy
When Bull is at less than 30% (3000) health, he gains a shield that reduces any damage taken by 30%. This is pretty good for survivability because Bull is vulnerable against brawlers that outrange him, since he has short range and deals very low damage at far range. This pairs well with T-Bone Missile's buffie equipped, because you can tank some damage when you're below 40% health, and you can heal yourself from attacking the enemy you marked with your gadget. With Tough Guy's buffie equipped, when Bull kills an enemy while Tough Guy is active, he will become immune to all damage for 0.5 seconds. I personally feel with the buffie Tough Guy is weaker than Berserker, because the immunity is very short, and getting a free super when killing an enemy while Berserker is active is a lot stronger in my opinion.Hypercharge: Jaws of Steel
When activated, when Bull is charging using his super, he will get a shield that reduces all damage taken by a literal 80%. This is very strong in my opinion because at close range, it's really easy to farm your super and hypercharge, and pairs very well with Tough Guy. Since you tank 80% of any damage taken when charging with your super, and Tough Guy giving you a 30% shield when you're below 40% health, you will basically be immune to all damage because an 80% shield when charging with your super + a 30% shield with Tough Guy = 110% damage reduction. With Bull's hypercharge buffie acquired, his attack will pierce through all enemies, but it deals less damage at far range. Players say this is broken and Bull becomes a killing machine, but I have Bull at power level 9, even though I have his hypercharge buffie, and I haven't tried it a lot. It feels a little disadvantageous to deal less damage at far range, but a deadly attack at close range piercing through enemies does sound very strong. Bull's hypercharge buffie also increases his hypercharge duration by 2 more seconds, and he gains a 20% speed boost, and a 5% damage and shield boost.Gears
Speed? Sure. Speed gear could work with Bull for a little more mobility.Vision? No. Bull's range is short, and he destroys obstacles with his super, so you won't get any value.Damage? Yes. Damage gear pairs well with Berserker equipped, because you can maximize your deadly damage potential against brawlers that can't run away or charge their super fast enough.Health? Yes. Health and damage gears are crucial for Bull because tanks benefit from the health gear, since they have a lot of health and can get back into battle faster.Gadget cooldown? No. Both gadgets take a little while to charge, but it's not as crucial as health and damage gears.Shield? No. Bull doesn't benefit from the shield gear because having more health is unnescessary.

Game Modes

Heist

Heist

Bull is very strong for heist. He can charge to the safe with his super, and he can oddly mark the heist safe and heal a lot while dealing a lot of damage with T-Bone Missile's buffie acquired.

Showdown

Showdown

In maps like Cavern Churn, Bull can surprise-attack enemies by bushcamping and getting a free kill because of his very high damage at close range.

Brawl Ball

Brawl Ball

Bull can charge through obstacles with his super to destroy the enemy goal cover to score easier, and overall he is very strong for this mode.
